For excellent reading practice, join our Thinamum Tamil reading program. We recommend that you read sentences at your current KTS grade level and also challenge yourself by reading sentences from the next grade level.
If you are not able to access Thinamum Tamil, please contact your Tamil teacher for help and more reading materials.

Many of our students have parents or relatives from a Tamil background. Try speaking Tamil with them often, even for small daily conversations. Learning a language with someone you know and love can strongly support your language growth.
Grandparents are especially wonderful resources. They are usually patient, kind, and willing to help you practice and overcome struggles in speaking, reading, and writing.
If you feel unsure about using family support, or if that option does not work well for you, please reach out to your Tamil teacher. Your teacher can guide you step by step, suggest activities that fit your level, and share methods that have helped many students in previous years.
